The artists at Project Workshops are busy planning their next exhibition scheduled for the weekend 17th and 18th May 2014 from 10am to 5pm. The open weekends are a rare chance to mingle with a group of some of the best artists and craftsmen in the area in the superb setting of Project workshops: it’s a great day out for all the family – and entry is absolutely free.
Some of my paintings will be available to view and buy in Soraya French’s studio.
There will be a small selection of my paintings available for sale in Soraya French’s gallery at the Project Workshop Open Studio weekend. Put the date in your diary now to see Soraya French, Glass Blowing demonstrations, the Talos Art Foundry, and much more from local artists.
Entry is free with ample free parking and disabled toilet facilities. Large parties and children under supervision are very welcome.
I’m currently painting for the St George’s exhibition locally, and this is one of my new pieces. The painting is based on a famous photograph, however I’ve changed and added a few things to make it my own. It was fun to learn how to paint raindrops! It’s relatively easy once you get the hang of it, although it is repetitive!
